about

The sole 'cover' on the album, Melocotón puts its unique coat of paint on Radiohead's 1997 rock song "Paranoid Android". The original song was melded from three different songs by different members of Radiohead, and this version remains true to the original's general form, bouncing between 4/4 and 7/8 times, and sliding between bossa, rock and reggae.

about

Melocotón (a Spanish word meaning 'peach') is a Cleveland, Ohio based band formed in 2009 by John Galvez on guitar, Dan ... more Kamionkowski on keys, and Andrew Rothman on drums. Bringing a broad range of personal musical tastes into the mix, the trio has created a 'heavy Latin jazz' sound that combines traditional South American bossa and samba with American jazz, rock and soul. less
